The Federal Court of Justice of Lagos has just postponed the alleged trial for card fraud against musician Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley.
Judge Nicholas Oweibo made the decision to allow the lawyer of the Commission for Economic and Financial Crime, Rotimi Oyedepo, and the lawyer of Fashola, Olalekan Ojo SAN, to respond to two requests.
The court has not yet set a trial date but has asked Fashola’s lawyer to file his motion.
Fashola and his accomplices conspired to use several bank cards to cheat their victims.
They presumably used access card number 5264711020433662, which was issued to others, to make fraudulent financial gains.
